Jeremiah 1:5
Ephesians 1:4-5
I wouldn’t say we gave “permission”, but rather that we have been in relationship with God and predestined to live our lives on earth. By God’s purpose to lead us to perfection and bestowed the priviledge of free-will on us, I believe that we have been informed and agreed to this life beforehand as free agents. The words in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you…” in the original context means that God had an “intimate relationship” with us. An intimate relationship is not a condition of forced actions of one person upon another, but understanding each other, our purpose and agreeing to what is best for us and our relationship.

I would like to know where in scripture is says that we were in heaven before we were born and how we gave permission to come here. I’m asking because I kind of suspected that were in heaven before but I couldn’t prove it.

It’s really a warm feeling to read something like this and I can say that I’m so blessed to found this site! All post are excellent insights towards being blessed by God and for being a blessing to other people around us. Each one of us truly can be an angel for our fellow that sometimes God uses us as an instrument to help others. God truly gives us inspiration for every dream in our hearts and unexpected miracles for every hope we seek. Thank you for sharing.

I felt glad when I served God and other people without asking in return. But sometimes there’s a feeling of tiredness. And I’ll just pray to God to give me strength to stand up and continue serving him.
