Andries in hospital for brain surgeryThe following is a true account of a young man who suffered from the age of nine with brain tumors, seizures and heart failures. The complete request for support is listed below, followed by the testimony of his miraculous healing on 22 August 2009 and my personal notes at the bottom.

Background

Andries Hills`s life changed irrevocably on the 9th of November 1991. Just a month before his 9th birthday, when he was diagnosed with a large brain tumor of approximately 7cm in diameter. The cause of this tumor was due to vascular malformation in the brain. The tumor was lodged in the left rear brain lobe and the pressure created by the mass, led to a stroke in December of 1991, this was the first of three strokes.

To make things worse, Andries lost his father as a result of a car accident in the following month, in January 1992, leaving the family behind before Andries was able to receive treatment. It was a very traumatic event in his life and due to the added stress to his health, he was too fragile for immediate steps to be taken. Only in August 1992 after he had recuperated enough to have the brain surgery, was the tumor removed. His chances of survival were slender. The doctors believed he may not be able to walk or talk after the operation, as the tumor was in the motor part of the brain. The operation was in process for 12 hours. It was a ground breaking accomplishment as a new technique with equipment that was used for the first time in South Africa. It had been covered on local television, because Andries was the very first patient on whom the procedure was applied. However, it was a great relief and joy when after the operation he opened his eyes and immediately asked, ”Where is my mother?” it brought tears to the eyes of everyone there, including the neurosurgeon who performed the intricate operation….

After regular rehabilitation and different therapies, Andries made a good recovery. His speech and walking abilities were relatively good. However he could not regain his ability to read or write properly. By memorizing words and numbers he could do the basics.

In 2004 a second brain tumor formed and this caused hemorrhaging which lead to another stroke. After his second brain surgery in October of 2004, his condition stabilized fairly well until the end of 2007, after which he had systematically deteriorated in all areas.

Due to new complications in his health, he had developed Muscular Dystrophy and more over a condition called Muscle Wasting. In other words his body is absorbing his own mass. He is bed ridden from time to time due to weakness as a result bed-sores seem to occur easily, even though he only weighs a mere 36kg.

Another complication due to the brain surgery is that Andries also has Fibrosis in certain areas of the brain.
As a single mother with a limited income, the medical costs have increased to such an extent that they are beyond my means. Andries` needs are growing with more rehabilitation and therapies to keep him active for as long as possible.

Andries is finding it increasingly difficult to walk on his own and this is causing problems for him to receive the very necessary therapy or even just to get around. In the near future he will have to be transported to the various facilities in a wheelchair. Based on medical facts the medical costs estimated for the next two years is in the region of R800 000.00. A recommendation for a vehicle that can accommodate Andries in a wheelchair was also made by all involved medical persons working with Andries. This would be to his benefit, affording him the least amount of discomfort while traveling.Andries, at home

The Andries Lourens Hills Trust has been established and is administered by efficient Trustees and Auditors. I now make an earnest appeal to you and the public to support this fund to help with the exorbitant medical costs incurred and to enable Andries to have the best quality of life possible for as long as he is spared for us.

This Trust Fund has also been established with the purpose to aid others with the same illness, the Andries Lourens Hills Trust will aid and support as long as funds are made available.
Everyone who knows Andries, knows he is very positive and encourages others to be likewise. He is always ready to help if he can. Through his complete trust in his Creator he inspires others. He is not a person that will just throw in the towel. He remains a brave young man doing what he can and this all seems to carry him forward.

No matter the terrible prognosis of the neurosurgeon and other doctors, Andries and we as his immediate family believe, “Where there is life, there is hope.” With Andries` total trust and faith, I as his mother also believe that he can have a relatively full life. With your support and aid it will be made so much better for him, for the time he is still granted with us.

Dear Philip

It has been two weeks and three days since our visit with you and our heavenly encounter with the FATHER. I am writing to let you know how God has changed our lives and circumstances completely. As you can remember, we really had a hard time getting to you, we had to keep changing the appointment, but eventually we made it. You and your dear wife told us that our lives will never be the same again, well it hasn’t been the same in any way whatsoever! You told us that you had prepared the previous evening for Andries`s visit and that the Lord had told you that He had a special gift for Andries, all he had to do was to go into heaven to receive this wonderful gift of healing. In fact it wasn’t just a healing of one aliment, but a totally new brain and nervous system.

You then prayed with Andries and went with him into heavenly places to go and fetch his total healing. Since we’ve been home, things just haven’t been the same again. Andries went from terminally ill to TOTALLY HEALED! He even has colour in his cheeks and he has started eating again. When you saw us 17 days ago, Andries weighed 36kg, I am sure if I had to weigh him now he would actually weigh more. People that saw him about a month ago, can hardly believe that this is the same person. We stand in awe as to what God has done through His Son Jesus Christ. Not only was Andries healed, but so too have our finances been healed. When we left you on that glorious evening to return home, we didn’t have enough money to pay our next rent (due in a week at that time)in fact we wouldn’t have any income whatsoever for the next four months, but God provided in such a way that even I was amazed. I say even I, because I had just witnessed this totally awesome miracle and wasn’t expecting anything more for a while. God just proved to me that we limit God in what He has for us, we think He has just given so we can’t ask for more.

WELL WE CAN & HE EXPECTS US TO LIVE IN ABUNDANCE! I believe that God will provide in all our needs and that we will never “need” again. Our whole family has been through a total “mind-set change” to accommodate this HUGE MIRACLE!

Philip we want to thank you and your wife for your unselfishness obedience to help the people around you to receive what God has intended us to have. You found the secret many years ago and unselfishly share this with whomever is seeking. Thank you so very much and please don’t ever stop with this miracle working gift that you have received.

God has done a GREAT work in our lives and I feel this ABSOLUTE ASSUREDNESS that our lives will NEVER be the same again!

TESTIMONY OF HIS HEALING (6 months)

Dear Philip,

It has been six months since my son, Andries Hills, was radically & completely healed by the Lord God Almighty. As you know we had a very long and exhausting battle with Andries being terminally ill, but with God absolutely nothing is impossible! By God`s intervention and our desperate race against time, we were led to you. As you know it took us days of great determination and a huge struggle, due to so many circumstances that tried to prevent us from getting to you for this miracle to take place!

I have included a MRI scan of the part of Andries`s brain that was damaged by two tumors and three strokes. Due to all this damage, Andries`s body just couldn’t take the strain anymore. His body went into a “shutdown” mode and rapidly deteriorated to the point that he developed Muscle Wasting & Muscular Dystrophy. As you know, this is irreversible, and can subsequently not be cured. Well we all know that with God anything and everything is possible, and for us this became a reality. Since we came to see you for prayer six months ago, and after going up into heaven to fetch Andries`s healing, where God had prepared this healing miracle ready to be “collected”, Andries has miraculously bounced back from the brink of certain death to become what God had intended for him to be; a living testimony of God`s miraculous loving kindness and grace. Without hesitation I can most certainly and irrevocably testify that God has healed Andries and that this very same God can heal anyone willing to reach out to God and trust in Him to heal them from whatever it is that they are suffering from…. No matter what it is, God can and will heal you! Just believe and see what WILL happen!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and guidance in the past couple of months. As you know we were left with huge medical bills before Andries`s healing, even in this God has supernaturally provided. To date we have been able to pay almost half of all the accumulated medical expenses. We registered a Trust Fund for Andries about a year ago to help with all the exorbitant medical bills. Times have been tough for everyone due to the recession, but I still believe that God will touch His people’s hearts to contribute towards this fund, in whatever way possible. Every drop helps to fill the bucket, so to speak.

Just as an afterthought; I actually wanted to include a doctor’s report on Andries`s current state of health, but he has been so well that he hasn’t been to see a doctor in months…. So due to good health I haven’t included a doctor’s report! Isn’t that a miracle?

I was walking on a very beautiful beach, expecting to meet up with a special Friend.  I felt the wind through my hair and against my face, the sand beneath my feet, and I listened to the sounds of the waves and the ocean.

Path into Heaven1x1Then I saw Him approaching from the opposite direction.  Our eyes met, He smiled at me. He was dressed in a white robe laced with blue and gold.  Those deep blue, piercing eyes were looking into my very soul, touching me with an intense love and unconditional acceptance.  My excitement, expectation and appreciation for Him were nothing matched against His acceptance of me.  He turned around and started walking with me in the direction I was going. We started talking and I asked a few questions.  We walked together, sometimes talking, sometimes just enjoying each other’s presence.  I remember how I placed my hand on Jesus’ shoulder and how He has put His arm around my shoulders.  For me, it would be a strange thing in this life, being hugged by another man like this while walking on the beach, the intimate feelings on a soul level, but being hugged by Him was just something that cannot be explained.  I was enjoying His presence, trying to match His feelings towards me, but it is impossible! The more I tried projecting my appreciation towards Him, the more He would engulf me with His love and acceptance.  After another period of silence, I decided to mention another apointment that was scheduled for the next day.

I talked to Him about my friend Andries, who would be visiting me the next day.  Andries was 29, and he weighed 36kg.  Twenty years of suffering from the after-effects of the brain tumours he had developed at age 9, the operations, several strokes and heart failures had finally worn him out.

His health was taking a turn for the worst during 2007.   I could sense Jesus’ compassion for our brother.  I must have been lost in His presence, not noticing that we are not on the beach anymore, we entered into a clearing from the dense bushes into a heavenly scene!   I was not on a beach somewhere on earth anymore.

I stood before a building with huge doors, it swung open as we got near and Jesus stood back, indicating that I should enter in.  I stepped forward into an amazing environment illuminated with soft and subdued hue.  The building stretched almost as far as the eye could see.  I looked at the uncountable number of objects on the row upon row of racks that stretched into the far end of the building.  Some of the objects were glowing with soft neon blue or green colours.  There were instruments and machinery connected to some of the objects.  Limbs, body parts and organs were neatly aligned as far as the eye could see.  Jesus was standing behind me, watching me and smiling at my astonished look.

I looked into the subdued, far end of the building, noticing an object glowing against the wall to our right.  I knew that I was supposed to go there and have a closer look.  I walked down one of the long corridors with racks on both sides towards the object I saw glowing.  As I came near to it, I recognised a complete brain, both lobes, the brain stem connected to the long strings of nerves hanging from it.  It was glowing and pulsating with life…

“It is glowing because it has been activated by the prayers of people that were praying for Andries’ healing, it is ready to be utilized now”.  Jesus’ spoke to me without audible words, His thoughts and mine were connected.

“Can I take it along then?” I thought of asking.

“No, tomorrow is the time, when they visit you.”

“Thank you Jesus, I’m so glad you will be there to heal him, I know I couldn’t do anything without You”, I remarked with feelings of utmost relief, gladness and gratitude.

“No, I’m not going to come and heal him……, you will have to come here, with Andries, and collect his healing…”

Jesus explained: “Many times, healings are manifested because of the Father’s love and grace.  The miracles you see is glimpses of heaven manifested on earth and it demonstrates the Fathers’ will and love for you. What the Father really desire, is for His children to learn to come into heaven and seek a relationship with Him.   I have already done everything I could on earth to open the way for everyone to enter in and take hold of all that is already theirs by inheritance.”

I understood now, why everyone is not healed when we pray for them on earth, God wants us there!  He is keeping the best for when we will grow up spiritually to meet with Him in the “Secret Place”.  All of a sudden, I understood fully what Psalm 91 means. In addition, Psalm63 is an awesome revelation of this kind of experience.  There in the sanctuary, the Holy of Hollies, everything is available – there! Supernatural protection, healing and provision. We want God to bring it to us all the time, but He is there, waiting for us to enter in and lay hold of every spiritual blessing in the heavens!

As we walked back to the beach, I promised Jesus that I would bring my brother into heaven the next day.  I made an appointment with Him.

The previous three months or so, I  had been listening to quite unorthodox teachings by Ian Clayton, a series called “Supernatural Encounters“. His teachings regarding his encounters with God in heavenly places opened up a new level of spirituality to me.  I was also practicing deeper meditation based on these teachings during prayer time.  The object of this prayerful meditation is to enter into the twilight zone between being consciously awake or asleep, and to allow the sub-conscious mind to come into a higher state of “super-consciousness”.  I believe the sub-conscious mind’s ability to connect to the spiritual ream, was what we lost with Adam’s fall.  If we can eliminate our SELF-awareness, get it totally out of the way and bring our spirit and subconscious to a more conscious level, we can actually (after much practice to crucify the flesh and the natural mind), be transfigured into heavenly realms where we can actually meet and talk to God, Jesus, angels and other good spirits from the kingdom of Light.  Far-fetched?  Well, this miracle was exactly the proof and confirmation I was looking for, that what I was getting involved in, was truth and a higher level of spirituality mostly undiscovered by believers in general.

I am not yet able to consciously enter into God’s presence in such a super-conscious state where my senses could actually perceive God in absolute conscious reality. However, I know that by faith we can obtain what is not yet seen.

The Friday evening before Andries, his mother Rykie and his sister Juanita arrived, I got the feeling that this is not going to be just another praying and “laying on of hands”-session to get this healing manifested.  I decided to spend my time in deeper prayerful meditation and visualization, talking to God about Andries.  I wanted to make an appointment with God for the next evening when they would be visiting. A great part of my writings is about defining the correlation and explaining the powerful principles of visualisation when combined with faith.  I have come a long way, yet I know I am spiritually underdeveloped (as I believe humanity in general still is).  In my book Entrance to Power, I am trying to bridge this void, to enable people to find the entrance into a higher spiritual dimension.

The next day, I asked Andries and his family members to accept the fact that this session is going to be different from what they might be used to.  I briefly told them about my experience and they understood right away. I was glad their spirituality and faith was on a level that could make this miracle possible.

We entered into prayerful meditation. I spoke, briefly describing in simple words the experience we were having, again on the beach, meeting with Jesus, walking and talking with him.  In the vision, I took my brother on the same path with me and Jesus and to the building. We arrived at God’s store room. We entered into the building through the large doors and we went straight to the far end with the glowing brain.  I took the brain and nervous system off the instruments and the hooks.  We walked back to the beach with Jesus, thanking Him for this precious time with Him.  In my lounge, Andries was sitting on the chair in front of me.  I was standing behind him, and I took the new brain (virtually by visualization and by physical demonstration) and I lowered it into His body from the top of his head.  I told him that from now on, all pain and migraines would disappear, all nausea and lack of appetite.  He will gain weight again, and all damaged parts of the old brain where they operated on him, the scars in his brain from the strokes, everything was now healed.

Afterwards, for the first time, Andries was his own self again, talking to us.  We sat and listened as he told us about his life, the traumas, the victories, the faith and his visions of heaven.

This healing was a miracle and a blessing from God and I have to pass all gratitude, glory and praise on to my heavenly Father.  I believe that in this specific case, it was God’s intention to manifest a little piece of heaven in the lives of a few people and a this family in a very special way.  I also believe that the way we were led to approach this miracle was quite unique (for me at least) and an invitation from God to seek His face and presence in the “secret place of the Most High” (Psalm 91).

We touched heaven and the garment of Jesus!

If only we would seek God’s face, and not only His miracles, we could have it all!

PS. I received a call, as so many times before, from Andries on 24 October 2010.  He is now weighing approximately 50Kg and is feeling very healthy.  All medical debt has been fully paid and it is going well with them financially as well. To God all the glory!
