I've never tried meditation because I wasn't really aware of its intrinsic value. However, after I read your post, I might try it out.

Hi Fanie,

My apologies for the late reply. In the portion you are quoting, Rick Joiner actually specified that he was instructed specifically about the "Throne of Judgement". Rick received revelation about many places in heaven, including the "Throne of Grace", and only when he was allowed into the judgement room, was he told that it is better that we learn God's judgement from earthly experiences, and that this was the exception allowed for him regarding the throne of judgement specifically.

We read the following about the Throne of Grace in the Bible:

Heb 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

We should learn to hear from God from our inner spirit during our experiences in every-day life. By obedience to this inner prompting of the Holy Spirit, we will learn how to more clearly listen and recognize God's guidance and inspiration. However, we are also encouraged from Bible scripture to also enter into heavenly visions, dreams etc. and nothing prevents us (accept our own disbelieve, feelings of unworthyness , pride etc.) to have more spiritual experiences. I believe we can have these by "practising the presence of God" through meditation as described in Psalm1. You can also see this in Psalm91, Psalm 63 etc. The apostle Paul had many meetings with Jesus. The voice of God will become clearer as we learn how to guard our thoughts (our heart) from the worries of everyday life. We can sit in heavenly places in the midst of everyday activities and distractions. This is what is meant by "Walking in the Spirit". Practising the presence of God and involving God throughout every aspect of our daily living brings anointing and power on our lives.

Jesus said the following to His disciples:

Joh 14:21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]

The commandments Jesus referred to in this portion as further explained in John14-17 is the commandements that we should love God and love one another, it is the law of love.

Note the words from original text meaning that Jesus will reveal and manifest Himself to us.

Hope this helps

Hi Philip,

I have just learned something new that I would like to share with you, because it has a lot to do with what we discussed not to long ago.
In the book “The Call” which is a follow up of “The Final Quest” there is a chapter called “I Am” and it is Jesus speaking to Rick Joyner telling him the following: “It is better to learn off My ways and My judgments through the experiences of life than to learn of them in this way (the revelation trough the vision in this realm) to whom much is given, much is required.”

He also tells him that the reason he answered his prayer by giving him this experience was because he is a messenger of God and that he needs to tell Gods people what he have learned, this is also what was meant when Jesus said: “To whom much is given, much is required.”

I know that the bible tells us to seek heavenly places and spiritual gifts;” Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.”(1Corinthians 14:1)

I just want to understand correctly, in my relationship with God, I desire the presence of Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I think of the works of God in my bed at night, every night and I eagerly desire the assurance of when God is speaking to me so that I can obey His will.

Please tell me am I supposed to wait on God until He answers me fiscally and let me enter into this heavenly place in the spiritual realm or am I supposed to learn how God is speaking to me through experiences I encounter in this realm, in life.

Hi Fanie,

W e are all on a soul journey through earth to learn that which the soul needs most for its growth in relationship with God and other people. However, the Bible encourages us to think and seek higher things (things heavenly), and states that we are already seated in heavenly places with Christ, even while on earth physically. We are spirits, with a soul and temporarily live in a three dimensional world that we connect with through physical bodies. Therefore, we are both spirit and physically human. We are fully equipped to move and live in both spiritual and physical dimensions. Jesus Christ demonstrated this ability to have heavenly encounters and He stated to His disciples that where He goes, he will prepare the way for us to go there also. Psalm 91 encourages us to seek and abide in the “Secret place of the Most High”, from where we can live a supernatural life. David stated in Psalm 63 that he has seeked God’s face and actually saw Him in the Holy of Holies.

To answer your question, the Bible teaches that we should ask, and we shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened for you. The people who had these experiences didn’t receive it by selection or by accident, they had the intense desire and have spent time to seek God’s presence. We can all do that if we want it badly enough.

Most people ask for things earthly when they go to God, how many seek his friendship and companionship first, and how many will knock on heavens door, laying down there carnal soul thoughts, and keep on knocking until it opens?

Hi Philip, I am busy reading a book which is a great book written by Rick Joyner called “The Final Quest”, in this book Rick was shown a vision by God and, or he spend time in the Third Heaven as Paul did in 2 Corinthians 12:2.
This was really a great experience for him as you could imagine and off-course know since you were the one who recommended that I should read the book.
There were just a few obstacle blocks in my mind that I would like to share with you,
At one stage in the book when Rick was back to the physical world, there was a lot he learned through the emotions, pain, joy and all the different experiences he had on this journey, things that no man could ever learn in his time on earth.
In other words, what I am trying to say is that it seems to me that if you do net get to the point where you enter into this realm and experience everything Rick and other people like him experience you will never be able to learn this much needed lessons they have learned.
I know that your book and these great articles you wrote teaches a lot about meditation and how to spend your time with God, I would just like to know; can any person go to this place through meditation, prayer and time spend with God or was this an opportunity or gift to a specific someone.
The reason why I am not sure is because the obstacles, people, angels and creatures that Rick Joyner met and experienced gave him an advantage to live a life off oneness with God, which is exactly what I want.
Could you please tell me what your thoughts are on this?
